The sensible small print
Terms of Use
These terms explain what the website provides, what it does not provide and the sensible limits that apply when using it.
Last updated: 21 October 2026
1. About this website
The Global Option is operated by David Jenkins. The website provides general information about international residency and citizenship opportunities and a way to begin a conversation.
By using the website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
2. General information—not personal advice
The website does not provide personal legal, tax, immigration or investment advice. It does not create an adviser-client, lawyer-client or fiduciary relationship.
David helps clients understand programme information, compare relevant routes and coordinate the process. Regulated or jurisdiction-specific advice is provided by the appropriately qualified legal, tax, immigration and investment specialists.
3. Programmes and investments change
Residency and citizenship rules, investment thresholds, government fees, processing times, tax treatment and available products can change—sometimes without much ceremony.
Information should therefore be confirmed for your circumstances before you apply, invest, move funds, sign a contract or make a tax or relocation decision.
4. No promise of approval or investment outcome
Governments and their appointed authorities decide whether an application is approved. No approval, processing time, citizenship outcome, investment return, capital protection or exit value is guaranteed through this website.
All investments involve risk. Eligibility for an immigration programme and suitability as an investment are separate questions, and both should be considered properly.
5. Third-party specialists and services
Applications may be fulfilled through Holborn Assets and supported by independent legal, tax, immigration, investment, banking or other specialist providers. Those providers are responsible for the regulated or professional services they deliver and may have their own terms, fees and privacy policies.
Any decision to engage a third party or make an investment remains yours after receiving the information and professional advice appropriate to you.
6. Accuracy and availability
Reasonable care is taken to keep the website clear and current, but information may become incomplete or outdated. The website may also be updated, interrupted or unavailable from time to time.
If something is important to your decision, please ask for it to be confirmed rather than relying on one sentence from a website—even a refreshingly readable one.
7. Acceptable use and intellectual property
You may view, download and share website information for personal, non-commercial use. The Global Option name, branding, original writing, design and downloadable materials may not be copied, republished or used commercially without written permission.
You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, submit false information or interfere with its operation.
8. External links
Links to WhatsApp, specialist providers, government sources or other websites are supplied for convenience. The Global Option does not control those websites and is not responsible for their availability, content, security or privacy practices.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Global Option is not liable for loss arising solely from reliance on general website information, third-party content or circumstances outside its reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Separate agreements and changes
If you proceed with a service, separate engagement documents may apply and will take priority for that service. These website terms may be updated when the site or applicable requirements change. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply.
